What’s your latest DIY? 🛠

We finally got our greenhouse (lead times are about 12 weeks), so over the last couple of evenings we’ve assembled the frame!

Just waiting for the rain to stay away so it can dry before we start glazing! Eeekkk!!!

I used couple vegan substitutes & swapped out normal flour for soy flour.

Quick & Healthy veggie burger meal!!

‼️Save for later!! ‼️

I am enjoying my vegetarian journey, trying new things & mixing things up!

⬇️Deets below⬇️

For 2 people:
• 2 meat free burgers
• brioche burger buns
• 4-6 cauliflower florets
• corn on a cob
• tomatoes
• cucumber
• cheese

Cook the burgers on frying pan as normal, boil some water before hand for your corn. Boil corn for about 20mins and the butter once done, to make them taste even better.

Cauliflower florets- season with salt, pepper and herbs, toss with a dash of olive oil & roast in 200C oven for about 20mins.

Once your burgers are cooked, add cheese on top, put a lid on and turn the heat off. This will make the cheese melt evenly over the burger.

When your cauliflower comes out of the oven, swap it to grill mode and put your brioche buns in for 2-3 mins to crisp them up a bit.

While everything cooks- cut up cucumber & tomato.

Butter your buns & assemble the burgers.

Serve on plate & enjoy your dinner!!

The cat is properly out of the bag- I have gone Vegetarian!!

I made this decision while watching @cowspiracy & @seaspiracy
If you haven’t seen them- they are very much worth the watch.

The 5 main reasons for me to change my diet:
* Environment
* Livestock wellbeing
* My health
* High reduction in our food bill
* It felt good to change

So… If you are interested in my journey in becoming a vegetarian & trying new recipes out yourself- stick around.

I will be sharing as much detail as I can on foods I eat, recipes, changes I’ve noticed.

After 30 years of being a full on meat eater- I have gone vegetarian! 🌱 I know- some of you who know me- this will be a complete shock! 😱

And this weekend I have Vegan baking a go- I did 5 different natural flavoured cup-cakes! Full recipes will be on the blog soon (just need to finish photography)!

I really hope you stick around & follow my journey in changing my eating habits!
